Job Overview
Worcester City Council is seeking an experienced and suitably trained Crematorium Operative to provide short-term operational support during the remobilisation of Astwood Crematorium.
The role will involve operating and monitoring cremators, carrying out operational checks, maintaining cremation records, handling cremated remains, supporting the crematory and undertaking chapel duties when required.

This is a specialist Crematorium Operative / Cremator Trained role.
Candidates must have recognised cremator training and recent practical experience operating cremation equipment.
Candidates without recognised cremator training and recent crematorium or bereavement service experience are unlikely to be considered.

Additional Information
This assignment supports the remobilisation of Astwood Crematorium.
Working hours will be on a rota system, including 08:00 to 16:00 and 10:00 to 18:00 shifts.
