About the job Lead Interior Designer

  • Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning
  • Select and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
  • Generate floor plans, finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
  • Attend in Construction Administration, supporting the delivery of the project design intent
  • Work on multiple teams and support concurrent projects in varying phases of project delivery
  • Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
  • Cost control for design fee
  • Manage drawing within time frame
  • Report process of each project to design manager every week.
  • Self-determination in bad situation.
  • As a self-motivated designer with strong 3Dmax and sketch up skills, you are able to jump in and produce test fits and project deliverables

  • Managing the design process from customer briefing to deposit money receiving within set timeframe
  • Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements in the development of a design
  • Create innovative designs and presentations that meet customer expectations
  • Stay up to date with design trend and participate team training on design developments
  • Manage outsources to produce quality work within set timeframe by not compromising to cost control
  • Analyze pros and cons of outsources in order to correctly assign to each project type
  • Arranging and leading on regular project meeting with ensuring that all concern teams are aware of the project's progress
  • Coordinate with sales team and construction team to complete project
    Initiate bottom up and idea sharing among team
  • Do ad hoc project base on assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 3-5 years of interior design experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D, Enscape, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe premiere Pro)
  • Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
  • Good relationships and can work smoothly with other departments.
  • Good background on technical knowledge and design skills
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to handle unexpected situations effectively.
  • Highly creative with an ability to think outside the box in design.
  • Able to comply with company rules, policies, and regulations.
