Chief Finance Officer
About the job Chief Finance Officer
Strategy, Planning & Leadership
- Act as strategic partner to senior leadership, driving financial strategy, business planning, and decision-making across Thailand and regional operations
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management aligned with business growth
- Drive process improvements, system implementation, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and governance standards
Financial Analysis & Business Partnering
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decisions and business initiatives
- Oversee preparation of key financial reports (P&L, budget vs. forecast, cash flow) and performance evaluation
- Assess financial impact of new initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities
- Develop and manage operating budgets and financial models
Accounting, Controls & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, treasury, and closing cycles
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting and statements
- Strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and reporting processes
- Lead external audits and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Manage banking relationships and coordinate with business units to achieve financial objectives
Financial & Team Management
- Oversee cash flow management and financial stability planning
- Evaluate investment opportunities with risk and return analysis
- Build strategic relationships with vendors and business partners
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams while collaborating cross-functionally to drive organizational performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with background in investment banking, consulting, or private equity preferred
- Proven track record in value creation, digital transformation, and executive/board-level engagement
- Strong knowledge of retail business and relevant functional expertise
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with sound business judgment
- High integrity, results-oriented mindset, and ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to analyze complex data, interpret technical information, and derive actionable insights
