Job Description
- Creating and ensuring visibility and traceability in all purchasing decisions
- Create buying strategy that takes into account the company budget and necessary supplies with cost optimization and able to build the management report
- Handle team with overview categories under, ensure & monitor the team deliver according to the daily tasks and projects.
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Through influence and challenge develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to support, endorse and deliver category plans aligned to category procurement strategies to realize business savings and support innovation.
- Build and deliver subcategory plans aligned to Category Plans by being innovative and collaborative with various cross-functional stakeholders
- Actively minimize revenue and capital costs through improved use of tools, processes, and application of best practices. This will be achieved through a combination of influencing stakeholders and robust planning
- Consistently track and report on savings targets for specified sub-categories using the agreed process
- Using sound judgment build new and develop existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and create greater value across the organization
- Support the business to achieving compliance with legal, ethical, and safety procurement policies with integrity and good judgment
- Develop and lead a high performing team enabling them to reach their potential to deliver a world-class procurement function
- Utilize data analysis to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
- Accept Dynamic culture and adapt the way of working suits for Business direction
- Any ad-hoc project as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering or Architect or related field
- At least 12 years of experience in store development and procurement roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Professional registration as an engineer or a construction manager certification.
- Experience in Construction / Real Estate is preferable
- Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules and work letters
- Experience in negotiating commercial contracts, master agreements, work letters and other construction agreements
- Have strong project management experience in multiple building types and locations
- Ability to lead negotiations and manage high-level meetings and discussions
- Familiarity with business process documentation and improvement
- Strong Strategical and analytical skills, detailed and results-oriented problem solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and team management
- Result-oriented with abilities to work well under ambiguity, changes, pressure and tight deadlines
- Computer Literate in basic business software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
