About the job System Design Engineer (Warehouse/Logistics Automation)
Providing innovative material handling solutions for the optimization of warehouse supply chains, following the customer's requirements, also managing the project from end to end to optimize the project timeline, controlling the budget, and managing the risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design logistics systems in accordance with customer requirements by developing conceptual layouts, system configurations, and technical proposals for client presentation.
- Prepare basic design drawings, technical specifications, and related engineering documents to support system proposals and project execution.
- Attend and conduct technical meetings with clients to provide system-related explanations, clarify technical requirements, and support solution development.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to request quotations, evaluate technical compliance, and monitor vendor progress in alignment with project requirements.
- Manage projects on an end-to-end basis, including project scheduling. budget control, risk assessment, and mitigation to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Continuously improve work processes, engineering activities, and problem-solving approaches to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and compile project handover documentation, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and final technical reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- Engineering license any level
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system design, logistics system engineering, material handling systems, or automation projects.
