Job Description
- Research and Development: Conduct research projects to develop new and improved modified starch products and applications.
- Experimentation: Design and execute experiments to test and validate new starch formulations and applications.
- Data Analysis: Analyze experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions to guide product development and process improvements.
- Product Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and optimize new starch products based on customer requirements and market demand.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and sales.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of research activities, including experimental designs, results, and conclusions. Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Production, to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
- Industry Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to modified starch applications.
- Innovation: Contribute to the innovation process by identifying and exploring new research opportunities in the modified starch industry.
Qualifications
- Master or Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or related fields.
- Minimum 5-10 years of product development experience in food applications or industrial applications.
- Having experience working on modified starches, or hydrocolloids is plus.
- Strong knowledge of carbohydrate chemistry and characterization techniques is plus.
- Strong scientific background and technical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fair to Good command of English (both writing and oral communication)
- Good in computer literacy
