Field Engineer Manager
About the job Field Engineer Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the companys internal capacity
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Track staffing requirements, training programs and define career path
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
- Define site activities at customer site for installation and commissioning.
- Identify local contractors for the installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Create and maintain a directory of contractors and resources
- Schedule and planning of site activities and resources.
- Coordinate with Site Mangers daily for any aspect related to the activities at site.
- Ordering Material and spare parts as needed at site.
- Create and maintain a database of local contractors and engineers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 or more work experiences in Field engineer.
- Multiple years of on-site work and commissioning experience.
- Able to read and understand electrical diagrams and Mechanical Drawings, layout and manuals.
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office package, Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with teams.
- Great customer relations skills and experience dealing with clients.
- Capable to guarantee coordination with service team, customers and suppliers in a very professional way.
- Previous management experience on leading team and working with multiple suppliers.
- Full orientation to problem solving and analytical approach skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to travel for long periods.
