About the job FINANCE MANAGER (Nakhon Si Thammarat)
Reporting to the Finance Director/CFO, the incumbent manages the day-to-day finance operations of the mill and ensures that the accuracy of financial statements, credit control, statutory audit and taxation processes are developed and implemented, while ensuring they are in compliance to statutory regulation. Other responsibilities include developing the competencies of company site accounting and finance personnel through leadership and imparting expertise / knowledge. Having oversight of the country finances and managing the mill and hatcheries, taking control of the financial aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the mill and take leadership around the financial activities at the site.
- Manage the process of accounting, finance, cash flow, credit control and taxation for Thailand entities together with the Finance Director.
- Ensure controls are in place at the operations and in accordance with company policy and corporate governance.
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements and coordinate with the related financial institutions and government agencies.
- Partner with Production Leads and Commercial Heads to drive the business growth and smooth business operation.
- Managing all finance and accounting operations.
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Lead and responsible in completing the annual budgetary and forecasting process, working closely with other functional department heads.
- Coordinate and work with Productions Head, Operations Manager and Country Sales Manager and responsible to the Finance Director & other Functional Directors.
- Handle year end audit, prepare audited financial statements, yearend audit package and liaise with auditors.
- Report financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts and actual performance reports.
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate analysis of monthly results to facilitate decision-making by management.
- Other related tasks as appointed by the management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in accounting / professional accounting qualifications or similar.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills in both English.
- Proficient in MS-Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other financial software systems.
- Willing to travel within regions and within the country.
- Minimum 8 years accounting/Finance experience with at least 5 years in managerial levels.
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, Accounting Legislation including Taxation.
