Site Engineer / Project Engineer / Coordinator
About the job Site Engineer / Project Engineer / Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Define with PM all aspects involved in the activities at customer site for installation and commissioning
- Identify local contractor in any country for the installation of equipment
- Identify local external engineers in any country for the commissioning of equipment
- Create and maintain a directory of contractors and resources
- Coordinate with PM team for the definition of the proper schedule of the activities at site
- Coordinate with PM team of the planning of internal and external resources
- Coordinate with Site Manger daily for any aspect related to the activities at site
- Support the Site Manager for any logistics needs
- Ordering Material and spare parts as needed at site
- Create and maintain a database of local contractors and engineers
Skill and Requirements:
- Able to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Able to read machines layouts and manuals
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office package, Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with teams
- Great customer relations skills and experience dealing with clients
- Capable to guarantee coordination with service team, customers and suppliers in a very professional way
- Previous management experience on leading team and working with multiple suppliers
- Full orientation to problem solving and analytical approach skills
- Good written and oral English communication skills
- Skill in planning and preparing written communications
- Interpersonal skills: such as phone skills, written and verbal communication skills, active listening and customer-care
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related field.
- Background in machine and control system design.
- At least 5 years working experience in Site Coordinator or Supports.
- Able to travel both upcountry and abroad
- Good command in English.
- Self-sufficient and proactive attitude.
