About the job Technical Support Engineer

  • Provide technical support to customers and Internal team on site during installation and commissioning
  • Provide remote technical support to customers
  • Troubleshooting remote support to the team on site, software remote connection
  • Routing calls and requests from service team to the right departments
  • Create appropriate records of calls and problems at site in our database
  • Making outgoing courtesy calls to staff ensure satisfaction and execution
  • Performing special project work as assigned by the manager
  • Performing assistance remotely on problems, project improvements and test execution
  • Follow up on service requests and problem
  • Assisting staff operations and projects execution
  • Travel to customer site to support the team on site when/as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Able to read and understand electrical diagrams/mechanical drawings and layouts.
  • Able to read machines layouts and manuals
  • Knowledge of Siemens TIA portal is a plus
  • Knowledge of motor inverters is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with teams
  • Capable to guarantee coordination with staff, customer and suppliers in a very professional way
  • Full orientation to problem solving and analytical approach skills
  • Good written and oral English communication skills
  • Skill in planning and preparing written communications
  • Interpersonal skills: such as phone skills, written and verbal communication skills, active listening and customer-care
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Prior experience troubleshooting technical problems
  • Prior experience dealing with teams
  • Basic understanding of Internet related software
  • Networking Skills recommended
  • Excellent Problem Solving / Troubleshooting Skills
  • Ability to interact with technical teams daily and reporting to management
  • Ability to adapt to change and the changing needs of the company
  • Ability to work overtime to ensure problem solving.
