About the job Sales Manager (Travel Business)
- Experience in B2B Sales within the travel industry
- Good connection and network with the Travel Agent and Tour Operator.
- Promote products of UK, Europe, USA, and Australia in the B2B market.
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities by evaluating travel company's needs.
- Actively promoting company products through cold calling and identifying more selling possibilities.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services as per the local area requirement.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and conferences.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle queries from start to finish by coordinating with the operation teams.
- Collaborate with overseas team members to achieve better results Gather feedback from Travel Agency or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new products.
- Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
- Should be able to achieve targets given by the head office.
Desired candidate profile:
- Must have a passion for tourism.
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments and be willing to get involved in projects with varying degrees of difficulty.
- Must demonstrate willingness to work as an individual and in a group.
- Must have strong desire for tourism sales with focus on career and industry growth.
- Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
- Ability to establish/develop selective selling techniques for soliciting events and groups during dates most beneficial to the local visitor economy.
- Ability to make verbal presentations to groups of various sizes.
- Will demonstrate exceptional skills in sales, customer relations, communications, and problem solving.
- Ability to project and recognize potential problems and implement corrective action.
