Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all General Ledger (GL) accounting processes comply with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Verify the accuracy of accounting entries, classifications, and supporting documentation to ensure that month-end accounting closing can be done accurately within the timeframe.
  • Maintain and update account code/cost center/profit center based on business structure and reporting requirements in the accounting system.
  • Prepare detailed reports and financial statements, analyze data, and present variance analysis to management monthly.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Monthly and yearly tax submissions: VAT, W/T, calculate corporate income tax, and ensure timely filing of tax returns in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure that the yearly package submission for N-PAE requirement has been complied accurately and completely within the timeline.
  • Prepare and update the template for annual budget plan input and provide variance analysis review to support budget approval from management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties, such as auditors and the Revenue Department and Marketing or Sales team with their requests for financial data.
  • Prepare for Financial reporting, packing and submit through required system as a reporting submission. (Actual/FCST/BUDGET/Tango)
  • Oversee and review the company's asset reporting to ensure that all assets have been capitalized correctly and comply with Company Assets policy

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in GL accounting or general accounting, with a minimum of 3- 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with tax laws and relevant accounting standards, especially for NPAE. Knowledge of IFRS v.
  • Proficiency in SIMPLY accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills with good presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, time management, leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Background in an Audit firm could be advantageous.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to manage complex planning and reporting processes.
