Sales Manager
About the job Sales Manager
- Maintains and grows existing customer accounts through an appropriate level of contact
- Creates sales growth by securing business through strategic direct customer segments
- Manage and interpret customer requirements and technical specifications
- Ability to deliver value proposition to customers in various segments (end user/OEM/EPCC)
- Manage and develop distribution network for maximum coverage for various Company Business Units
- Manage client quotes, negotiate contract terms, resolve conflicts, provide after-sales support, and integrate with internal departments, suppliers and external technical experts using CRM and ERP software
- Develop promotions with Marketing department to stimulate direct and distribution-based sales
- Develop short- and long-term forecasts, budgets, strategies, and marketing programs required to meet sales objective
- Distributors management
- Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops, reviewing professional publications and materials, and developing personal networks and affiliations with relevant professional organizations
- Participate and/or coordinate trade shows as required
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
Qualification
- 3 - 5 years of experience within industrial rotating or fluid-handling equipment, preferably with pumps
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
- Ability to communicate in highly technical field
- Ability to engage and work with others
- Proficiency in planning, scheduling, customer relationship management, and distributor/representative management are critical to success
- Maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information.
- Complete some moderately repetitive tasks
- Good command in English
