Job Descriptions

  • Oversee/manage all finance & accounting tasks to be productively functioned by the subordinates.
  • Plan/develop effective working system for corporate and liner business.
  • Gather Business plan from all concerned to propose the annual financial budget to the management for their scrutiny / approval.
  • Prepare/develop the staff to increase their competency as well as develop the staff to keep pace with the changing working procedure set by respective Principals.
  • Coordinate with other Department/RHQ/GHQ for the issue related as well as solve problems of Finance & Account Division.
  • Monitor the Agency accounting/Cash Flow as per guideline set by GHQ/RHQ.
  • Monitor and control the collection of account receivable for both corporate & Liner biz.
  • Control capital expenditure to be in line with the company investment budget.
  • Verify and approve payment vouchers for managements payment approval.
  • Check income tax, withholding tax, value added tax for the company as well as all principals and ensure that all taxes are submitted to the authorities in the stipulated time frame.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies as per the latest version of accounting standard for both TFRS and IFRS.
  • Plan and provide strategies for training and transfer knowledge for current and future role to the successors. Provide training sessions to finance and account team to keep updating for the accounting standard knowledge and taxation.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Experiences 15 years in accounting, at least 10 years in management roles.
  • Required CPDs license.
  • Required Background experience for SAP.
  • Good analytical skill, problem-solving.
  • Good communication and team player skills
  • Have a Leadership skills
  • Good command in English.
