Lead and Manage Product Costing Processes

  • Manage and oversee the product costing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines and group requirements
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary data for precise costings.

Analyze and Resolve Costing Discrepancies and Variances

  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify discrepancies and variances by
    comparing data with previous products.
  • Explain variances and support stakeholders in resolving issues by identifying root causes and proposing solutions.

Optimize and Improve Costing Processes

  • Identify areas for improvement within costing processes and support automation initiatives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline and optimize costing operations.

Provide Strategic Insights and Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support decision-making through data analysis and insights.
    Analyze product performance against financial targets and provide recommendations for improvement.

Maintain Accurate Documentation and Conduct Ad Hoc Evaluations

  • Maintain accurate records of all costing data and ensure efficient data
    management.
  • Conduct ad hoc cost evaluations and ensure timely completion of these projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in costing, financial analysis, or business analysis
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide clear explanations and solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of product costing methodologies and financial analysis
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and costing software is an advantage
