Responsibilities
- Verify cash with the Customer Services team daily prior to depositing cash into the company bank accounts.
- Reconcile the sales volumes of the daily sales reports with that of the Customer Services Department and prepare daily receipt vouchers.
- Manage petty cash.
- Assist with the month-end closing process including preparing and making general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform the month-end closing and related duties, specifically around the inventory as well as COGS and prepare the inventory movement report on a daily basis.
- Perform detailed reviews of inventory costs, with research and resolution of discrepancies as needed.
- Product costing analysis.
- Take a physical inventory count at month end and year end.
- Reconcile the inventory balance in the inventory movement report with the general ledger on a monthly and yearly basis, or when required.
- Perform the destruction inventory process and liaise with Revenue Department as well as auditors.
- Perform fixed asset register, control, quarterly verification, and disposal process.
- Record the general ledger and reconcile the balance sheet.
- Prepare the Output VAT report.
- Commission calculation.
- Prepared the monthly financial report packages.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or in any related field
- Minimum 5 years experience as Accounts Receivable and Inventory Costing Clerk
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required
- Strong sense of accountability, ability to meet deadlines, organizational skills, team player, attention to details and accuracy, sense of urgency, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and stress tolerance
- CD Organizer Accounting Program and need to speak English well.
- Must be able to legally travel among these countries/regions for business as needed: United States of America, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China
