About the job Legal & Compliance Director

  • Support and monitor the establishment or expansion of international business entities in coordination with legal teams or consultants.
  • Provide legal consultation and draft/review business contracts in international markets.
  • Conduct legal and compliance training and develop policies and procedures aligned with laws, industry standards, and corporate policies.
  • Support promotional audit activities and develop ongoing compliance training programs.
  • Collaborate with departments such as marketing, sales, legal, and operations to implement and manage compliance initiatives.
  • Develop and revise policies, investigate compliance issues, and provide corrective actions where necessary.
  • Provide regular risk and compliance updates to key stakeholders and management.
  • Oversee compliance with legal and policy requirements, ensuring timely updates in line with regulatory changes.
  • Analyze current and proposed laws and industry practices and advise on appropriate business procedures.
  • Validate internal control processes and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with regulators, government agencies, and senior management to address legal compliance matters.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and report regularly to the Board and senior leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/higher degree in Law
  • Have 7-10 years of experience in legal and compliance functions.
  • Strong skills in drafting and reviewing English legal documents/contracts.
  • Experience in foreign investment
  • Solid understanding of compliance operations: risk assessment, due diligence, policy creation, training, monitoring, investigation, and project management.
  • Excellent English communication (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise compliance and risk management practices.
  • Ability to advise across departments, manage legal documents, licenses, and regulatory matters.
  • Experience in coordinating with internal teams and external legal units.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
