About the job Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer (Instruments)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and fully cover assigned territories to achieve annual sales targets.
- Identify, develop, and maximise business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide technical sales support including preparation and coordination of quotations and proposals.
- Execute the full sales process effectively from CRM opportunity management through to order execution.
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal departments including supply chain and operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data in the CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product briefings to customers.
- Provide professional pre-sales and after-sales technical support and advice.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding requirements, budgets, and applications.
- Participate in tenders and negotiate commercial and contractual terms in line with company policies.
- Collaborate closely with sales team members to support joint sales activities and projects.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the direct superior as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related fields).
- At least 3 years work experience in Sales Engineer (Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Machine Building, Semiconductor, OEM are preferable).
- Good Knowledge in vary Instrument Products
- Good command of English in both written and spoken communication
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High responsibility with strong teamwork ability
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good computer skills (MS Office or related tools)
- Have own car and a driving license
- Be able to work under pressure
