The Electrical Engineer will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle from concept to final implementation. This role will support the design, integration, and execution of electrical systems for solutions. This role involves preparing technical layouts, coordinating with suppliers, and collaborating with global teams to ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating closely with mechanical engineering team to prepare the execution layouts following the customer requirements, company standards, and related laws and legislation needed.
- Prepare detailed electrical layouts based on the execution layouts to meet the customer requirements, company standards, and relative laws and legislations needed, including consider the automated functional.
- Prepare details of discussion for alignment with suppliers since the project execution phase to align with all project stakeholders as well as the project has been handed over to the customer.
- Discuss suppliers to make the machines and handling systems to meet the requirements, including follow-up and review all related matters to keep the schedule.
- Discuss project management team closely to avoid misunderstanding between each party since the project handover from sale to execution phase to align with all project stakeholders as well as the project has been handed over to the customer.
- Discuss technical department at headquarters to clarify the technical points raised in the project related to the machines.
- Prepare related documentation needed to be able to understand correctly and tangibly, and release to all stakeholders in the project internally.
- Report on the daily tasks handled directly to the execution engineering manager.
- Support the technical aspects for sale team and project engineering team as requested to meet the customer requirements in bidding phase
- Ensure supplier equipment complies with company requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Produce final project drawings and sketches for execution and update them as built upon project completion.
- Maintain a library of standard layouts and configurations to streamline pre-contract activities.
- Develop installation layouts and provide on-site support during project execution.
- Coordinate with the Technical Department at headquarters for validation of layouts, especially regarding structural tolerances and safety standards.
- Evaluate sub-supplier equipment based on design standards and criteria.
- Support research and development of new machine types for company applications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Control Engineering, or relevant fields of engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar industry, or minimum 7 years of experience in both control and power distribution systems.
- Familiar with ISO/ IEC standards related to electrical machines and safety of machinery is a plus.
- Familiar with Thais laws, acts, and legislations related to building, ministerial, EIT is a plus.
- Familiar with CE for machinery directive is a plus.
- Proficient in managing overseas suppliers to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Proficient in technical documentation established in short period.
- Possessing a good knowledge and experience of motors, inverters, control circuits, sensors, and other relevant electronics technology is a must.
- Possessing a good knowledge and experience of electrical drawings in both control and power distribution systems is a must.
- Possessing a good knowledge and experience of PLC, industrial network (IT/ OT) is a plus.
- Possessing good knowledge and experience of building and factory civil drawings and layouts is a plus.
- Proficient in basic computer and software tools.
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT for 2D drawings for mechanical layout.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently and under high pressure.
- Practical, results-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
