About the job Network Engineer

Job Scope:

  • Provide technical operation support for network infrastructure and services.
  • Perform network configuration changes, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • Develop work plans and deliverables for change management activities.
  • Identify, analyze, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assess change impacts and support communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor success metrics, track progress, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Configure, maintain, and support various network and security devices, including:

    • Cisco Switches and Wireless Controllers
    • Aruba Wireless Controllers, ClearPass, Aruba Central
    • Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama
    • FortiGate, FortiProxy, VPN, Prisma
    • SD-WAN platforms (Velocloud/Viptela)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across hardware and software.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in network operations or technical network engineering.
  • Strong understanding of routing & switching, TCP/IP, and network communication protocols
  • Knowledge of ITIL-based Incident Management processes.
  • Understanding of servers, storage, networking, and virtualization components.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software, network, and cloud environments.
  • Intermediate English communication skills.
  • Ability to identify root causes and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Knowledge / Skills:

  • Cisco L3 Switches
  • Cisco Wireless Controllers
  • Palo Alto NGFW
  • Fortinet Firewalls
  • Aruba Wireless Solutions (Controller, ClearPass, Aruba Central)
  • Experience with Load Balancer, FortiProxy, and SD-WAN (Velocloud/Viptela).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools: Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG.
  • Basic scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and incident response.
  • Certifications: CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, PCNSE (Palo Alto)
