Director - Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Define technology roadmaps and priorities aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring timely and quality delivery across teams.
• Drive technical excellence through robust architecture, code quality, and system performance.
• Champion Agile, DevOps, and automation best practices.
• Mentor and develop engineering leaders to foster a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align business needs with technical execution.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles (Tech Lead, Development Manager, etc.)
• Lead multiple high-performing engineering teams (1020 members).
• Hands-on expertise in NodeJS, NestJS, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Proven success managing large Agile teams and complex technical projects e.g. Product Information, Pricing & Promotion, supply chain, and POS systems.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, wholesale domains is a plus
• Must be on-site 100%
