Accounting and Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Establish policies, plans, and accounting and financial management systems in alignment with the companys operational strategies.
• Analyze, plan, and forecast company liquidity, determine financial direction, and present financial statements to management.
• Set departmental goals, monitor progress, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to the team.
• Supervise and review accounting records, month-end and year-end closings, and consolidated financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other accounting reports.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate working capital for business operations.
• Approve accounting adjustments, review and authorize financial reports, payment vouchers, and other related documents.
• Review corporate income tax calculations and account reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Plan and optimize tax strategies to maximize benefits for the organization.
• Evaluate and analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting, with at least 10 years in a managerial or supervisory role. (Experience in the heavy industry will be an advantage.)

• Certified Public Accountant (CPD license holder)

• Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skill.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or other accounting-related modules (Cloud-based preferred).
