The project and your role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Manual QA Analyst to join our team, focusing on ensuring the quality of educational websites, eCommerce websites, and similar web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of a complex B2B eCommerce web application.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios.
- Create and maintain detailed, well-structured test cases.
- Log and track defects in collaboration with developers and analysts.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Estimate testing tasks and contribute to overall sprint planning.
- Review test results and ensure high product quality before releases.
- Participate in product demos and reviews with the customer.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
Your skills
- Proven experience in QA or web application testing roles (3+ years)
- Strong proficiency with tools and concepts like Postman, REST, JSON/XML, Swagger, and HTTP methods
- Strong SQL skills (JOINs, filters). Basic NoSQL knowledge is a plus
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing, responsive design checks, usability reviews, and using browser Developer Tools
- Ability to create comprehensive test cases, checklists, bug reports, and test plans (familiarity with tools like TestRail, Zephyr is beneficial)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Confluence
- Basic understanding of Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, and Docker.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or YouTrack
- Exposure to automation tools and languages like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, Python, or JavaScript.
