The Project and Your Role

We are seeking a Shopify Plus Tech Lead to drive the development of a cutting-edge B2C eCommerce platform in North America. As a key member of the team, you will lead the creation of a top-tier Shopify Plus solution leveraging the latest features, including Hydrogen and Liquid. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, guiding a team of senior developers and collaborating directly with the clients technical and business stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions for the Shopify Plus platform.
• Oversee a team of senior developers, providing mentorship and code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Collaborate directly with the clients technical and business teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and defend architectural decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify Plus features and headless frontend technologies, implementing best-in-class solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with headless CMS platforms such as Contentstack, Contentful, or Sanity.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings, ensuring alignment on project goals and resource allocation.
• Review existing technical landscapes and propose enhancements to improve scalability and performance.
• Act as a bridge between the digital agency and the client, ensuring transparent communication and project success.

Your Skills:

• 4 - 5+ years of experience with Shopify Plus, including mastery of Liquid and Hydrogen frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of headless frontend architecture and Node.js development.
• Proficiency with headless CMS platforms such as Contentstack, Contentful, or Sanity.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience leading teams of senior developers.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience conducting workshops, training sessions, and presenting complex solutions in an accessible manner.
