FCS is actively searching for a Machine Shop Foreman for their top client in Harrington, DE USA. POSITION SUMMARY
The Machine Shop Foreman will work directly with the Plant & Operations Management team, responsible for directing and implementing manufacturing processes, providing training, and hands-on technical support for the set-up, programming, operations, and maintenance of CNC Lathes & Mill centers, Robotic Welders, CNC Laser Cutters, and other production equipment throughout the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5+ years of CNC Machining experience, with expertise in the set-up, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operations of CNC Lathe and Milling Machines.
- Experience operating and maintaining CNC Haas Bar Feeders, Robotic Arm Welders, Plasma Lasers, and Mazak Machining Centers.
- Skilled in G & M Code Programming, with demonstrated ability to read and comprehend engineering blueprints and/or 2D/3D drawings.
- Experience performing QA/QC inspections of raw material, finished machined parts and tooling, completing and maintaining paperwork for parts.
- Ability to identify, and address any safety related concerns immediately.
- Background in managing production schedules, manpower, purchasing and ordering materials to meet production targets, and controlling costs.
- Establish and enforce quality standards, conducts regular inspections, and implementing of corrective actions to maintain product quality.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, and work in an environment with moderate noise levels.
- Technical CNC Machining Certification / Licenses is highly preferred.
