FCS is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading client in Newark, DE. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a privately owned, full-service, multi-discipline engineering and design firm. POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for developing construction drawings, designing conceptual and detailed electrical power distribution systems and architectural lighting. Projects will span new construction and renovations across various industries, including industrial manufacturing, commercial, healthcare, data centers, and pharmaceutical facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience developing conceptual & detailed designs, construction drawings, one-line diagrams, electrical wiring, electrical panel schedules, and schematics for facilities/buildings.
  • Experience using Revit, AutoCAD 2D/3D, MicroStation, SKM PowerTools, etc. 
  • Strengths in Power Distribution electrical design and architectural lighting for new construction and renovation projects.
  • Developed design construction drawing packages and technical calculations addressing the electrical requirements for power distribution systems.
  • Background designing electrical power systems for pharmaceutical, research and development, and hazardous classification sites.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodology, ability to create design and construction documents, BIM, project scopes, specifications, time and cost-efficient design packages.
