BSA/AML Level 1 Alert Analyst - Contract Engagement, Coral Gables, FL

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a well-established Coral Gables community bank to identify experienced AML analysts. This is an on-site contract opportunity focused on Level 1 alert disposition within the ECS platform. Ideal candidates are Miami/South Florida-based, bilingual English/Spanish, with hands-on ECS experience and a track record of high-quality, high-volume alert review.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of AML/BSA analyst experience within a banking environment
  • Hands-on experience with ECS is required (this is the primary qualifier - candidates without verifiable ECS experience will not be considered)
  • Demonstrated experience in transaction monitoring, alert review, and disposition
  • Strong understanding of KYC, CDD, EDD, and suspicious activity identification
  • Experience reviewing wire, ACH, and check activity
  • Familiarity with SAR narrative writing and escalation protocols
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach, of Florida residency required
  • CAMS certification preferred, not required at Level 1
  • Ability to pass client background check and IT security screening
  • Available to start within 2 weeks of contract signature
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Review and disposition Level 1 AML alerts within the ECS platform per bank policies and procedures
  • Document alert decisions with clear, opinion-based rationale supported by transactional facts
  • Escalate suspicious activity to internal BSA/AML team per bank protocol
  • Meet daily productivity benchmark
  • Participate in short client onboarding and training (estimated 3-5 days)
  • Coordinate with the FinTrust Connect delivery lead on daily output and weekly reporting
  • Contribute observations on recurring alert patterns, client-level clustering opportunities, or process refinements identified during the engagement
  • Support smooth handoff of any in-flight cases at engagement close
