About the job Career Advisor (S)
Responsibilities:
Provide career consultation services, including resume and cover letter critiques, job search strategies, and mock interviews.
Research job openings in the tech industry and create a database of potential employment opportunities for our students and alumni.
Build relationships with local employers and staffing agencies, attending career fairs and networking events to connect students with potential job opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and employment outcomes.
Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure our programs are aligned with industry demands and provide students with the skills necessary to succeed in their chosen field.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. education, human resources, or business administration).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in career services, talent acquisition, or a related field.
Familiarity with the tech industry and current hiring trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employers, students, and alumni.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
