We are seeking an experienced nurse who can confidently make independent decisions while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to personal growth and the development of the entire team.

About the Nursing Home:

Located in the beautiful city of Manchester, our Nursing Home is nestled in its own grounds and provides residential, nursing, and palliative care to 60 residents. The Home has received a good rating across all inspected categories from the CQC.

Responsibilities of the Unit Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home include:

Taking charge of leading, directing, and supporting the Nursing and Care team Managing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times Actively recruiting and maintaining optimal staffing levels Mentoring junior staff members Ensuring completion of mandatory and required training for all staff Conducting staff supervisions and appraisals Ensuring compliance with CQC and internal policies within the Unit Managing and monitoring medication processes and compliance Conducting relevant audits to ensure internal and external compliance

Requirements for the Unit Nurse Manager role:

Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) Active NMC PIN Evidence of ongoing professional development Sound knowledge of CQC regulations Demonstrated experience in leading a Nursing team and delivering person-centered care, including care planning
