They have an immediate opening for a Frontend Developer Lead to drive the evolution of their frontend ecosystem. This role requires a combination of technical leadership, hands-on execution, and product thinking — ensuring frontend systems meet current business needs and are positioned for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization and evolution of microfrontend architecture across the core product.
• Define and enforce frontend engineering best practices, standards, and architectural patterns.
• Evaluate and continuously improve user experience, aligning enhancements with business objectives.
• Guide and mentor frontend developers, driving execution excellence in an agile environment.
• Establish and maintain standardized microfrontend components to ensure consistency with the brand.
• Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for frontend services; participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver cohesive solutions.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and responsiveness across frontend applications.
• Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the frontend team.
• Proactively identify opportunities to adopt new technologies, tools, and patterns to improve reliability and developer productivity.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Frontend Team Lead for at least 2 years.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Experience building responsive and adaptive user interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability in delivering projects.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Availability to work across EST, CST, and PST time zones.

Preferred

• Experience with microfrontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa).
• Experience designing or contributing to design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with REST API integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based frontend deployments (AWS Amplify, CDN strategies).
• Background working in agile, product-driven environments with cross-functional teams.
