Job Responsibilities
Identify and drive process improvement opportunities in retail planning and allocation through strategic use of technology
Analyze business requirements and collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and enhance systems supporting inventory planning
Serve as the primary liaison between business users, software vendors, and developers to ensure user needs are met
Provide first-level support for high-priority system issues within planning and allocation functions
Deliver training to end-users on new system features, updates, and changes, ensuring user adoption and functional understanding
Integrate best practices into system enhancements to optimize cost, efficiency, and productivity
Leverage data analysis to support business decisions and ensure alignment with planning goals and strategy
Job Requirements
Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , ideally within retail or consumer goods industries
Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
Proven track record in training users and facilitating system adoption
Bachelors degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of retail planning processes, including: Budget Planning, Merchandising Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Volume Planning, Post-season Hindsight Analysis
Experience in both functional and IT environments within the retail sector
Familiarity with retail-specific tools (e.g., Anaplan, Blue Yonder Allocation Tool)
Experience working in Agile teams using tools like JIRA, understanding of software development lifecycle
Knowledge of sprint planning systems like JIIRA to follow agile methodology and the software development life cycle.

Experience with Anaplan model building
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
