Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Retention Marketing Lead who can increase customer loyalty and engagement by enhancing our retention strategies and ensuring our marketing communications consistently deliver value to our users.
This role will take ownership of developing and executing customer retention strategies to foster lasting relationships with our users. It is critical to ensure customers find ongoing value in our services, drive loyalty, and reduce churn.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize the Retention Revenue and Profitability: Drive initiatives to enhance customer retention, focusing on revenue growth and improved profitability.
- Develop new and optimize existing retention channels. Develop innovative strategies for new retention channels and continuously optimize existing ones to meet performance goals.
- Retention Strategy Development: Design, implement, and refine customer retention strategies that align with our brand’s unique personas and customer lifecycle stages.
- Communication Journey Implementation: Create and optimize email and SMS campaigns, including welcome journeys, win-back initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.
- Budget Management: Manage retention budgets effectively, reducing inefficiencies and maximizing ROI through strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Team and Resource Management: Oversee the efficient use of internal and external resources, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of Retention Marketing achievements for industry-leading brands in a competitive landscape.
- Excellent knowledge of standard and current Retention practices.
- 5+ years of experience in retention, customer lifecycle management, or CRM roles.
- USA experience is a plus
- Experience with multi-channel communication strategies (email, SMS, notifications, etc.).
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Yespo) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse customer personas.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into effective strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in budget management and cost optimization
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is a must
- Comfortable with data collection and analysis
