Service Advisor
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join Central Florida's largest independent personal financial consulting firm. The Service Advisor is a mid-level role dedicated to mastering client service, financial planning, and the investment management process. This position involves collaborating closely with advisory team members to provide daily support to clients, assist in the preparation and presentation of financial plans, and provide investment analysis and recommendations.

General Support:
- Assist Lead Advisors in the execution of steps in the client service process
- Track correspondence and actively participate in client meetings
- Work on follow-up items after meetings
- Provide outstanding service to retain existing clients
- Grow existing client relationships by identifying opportunities for additional services and seeking referrals
Advisory Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update financial plans, ensuring accurate data entry into financial planning systems
- Discuss, review, and finalize financial planning assumptions and design decisions with Lead Advisors
- Obtain information and prepare risk profiles and investment policy statements under supervision
- Coordinate the transfer of client assets during new client onboarding
- Develop asset allocation strategies and implement them independently or with the Lead Advisors
- Rebalance portfolios under the guidance of the Investment Committee and Lead Advisors
- Participate in client meetings, deliver presentations, facilitate discussions, and prepare information
- Create custom worksheets and analyses to answer client questions or research investment opportunities
- Advise clients on appropriate financial solutions in the context of their plans
- Research new investment strategies and vendors
- Facilitate the adoption of new technology by client service teams and train others as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- CFP® certification
- 5-7 years of experience in financial planning or investment management
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, retirement planning, and tax planning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of integrity and commitment to client confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
- Experience with regulatory compliance and a thorough understanding of industry regulation
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Desire to come into the office
