 Job Description:

Our client is a fee-only boutique wealth management firm. They are seeking a Financial Advisor to join their growing team. Their services include industry innovations such as Career Asset Management, Elder Life Planning, and Caring Hearts Conversations to augment more traditional retirement, investment, tax, and other financial planning services. It's our goal to ensure we take care of our clients' financial well-being so they can focus on other important aspects of their great lifeas they define it.For a high-energy, qualified professional and mature contributor who demonstrates outstanding performance in the role, the expectation is to transition to a lead advisor within a 12-18 month period. A Lead Advisor is an experienced planner responsible for developing new business opportunities and creating and implementing financial plans with our clients.

During this transition period, the Financial Advisor acts in a supportive role to lead advisors, who serve as a primary resource for training and mentoring. The Financial Advisor participates in client meetings with the goal of transitioning into leading the meetings over 12-18 months. Specific tasks of the Financial Advisor and a Lead Advisor, along with a robust training outline, will be shared with interested candidates.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years working in a financial planning environment (doing tasks such as: preparing client reports, participating in client meetings, setting up accounts, transferring assets, preparing meeting agendas and reports, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • CFP® designation completed
  • Has working knowledge of CRM system (Redtail or comparable), Financial planning software (Money Guide Pro or comparable). Works with custodians – Schwab. Most importantly quick to learn/apply tools, technologies, and processes associated with role
  • Self-starter, motivated by continuous learning
  • Must be organized, possess a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to concentrate and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Alignment with firm values
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others and a desire/ability to work effectively in a small company/team environment 

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary will be based on experience (no commission) and is competitive with industry standards for the role. Estimated ranges are as follows: $90,000-$120,000
