As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our team and work closely with our advisors, including the firm's founder. This individual will play a key role in supporting client relationships, developing planning strategies, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Over time, the position offers the opportunity to take on increased client-facing responsibilities and progress toward a lead advisor role.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Planner, you will serve as a key partner to the firm's advisors in delivering comprehensive planning and exceptional client service. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with advisors to develop and implement customized financial planning strategies for clients.
Participating in client meetings, contributing planning insights, and helping drive meaningful discussions and outcomes.
Preparing for client engagements by organizing financial information, reviewing planning opportunities, and ensuring all materials are complete and accurate.
Developing and maintaining financial plans, cash flow analyses, retirement projections, tax planning strategies, and other planning deliverables.
Managing follow-up activities after client meetings, including documenting action items, updating client records, and coordinating next steps.
Maintaining accurate client data and records within the firm's CRM and planning systems.
Facilitating client communications and assisting with the collection, review, and processing of client documentation.
Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and serving as a resource throughout the planning process.
Working closely with team members to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
Continuing to expand your technical knowledge and staying informed on industry developments, planning strategies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, or a related field
CFP® certification required
Series 7, Series 66, and Insurance licenses required
8+ years of wealth management experience
6+ years of experience in a Financial Planner or similar advisory support role
Strong knowledge of tax planning and estate planning strategies
Excellent communication, relationship management, and client service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Demonstrated career progression and professional stability
Exceptional attention to detail
Emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and a growth mindset
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
