Relationship Manager
Job Description:
Our client is a boutique wealth managment firm in Greater Houston seeking a Relationship Manager/Support Advisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand potential clients financial needs, goals, and challenges
- Work closely with team to tailor investment and financial planning solutions for prospective clients
- Contribute ideas to develop and execute strategic initiatives to acquire and serve target market clients
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, client interactions, client connections and pipeline progression in CRM systems ensuring data integrity and timely updates
- Regularly log and categorize leads, referrals and client touchpoints to track engagement and follow-up actions
- Utilize CRM analytics and reporting tools to monitor progress, identify trends, and optimize client acquisition timeline
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and firm policies by accurately documenting client communications and prospecting activities
- Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, planning and service to align CRM data with broader business development initiatives
- Leverage CRM insights to prioritize high-potential leads, schedule timely follow-ups and enhance overall prospecting experience and efficiency
- Continuously refine and improve CRM usage, adopting best practices to maximize productivity and client conversation rates
- Join lead advisor in onboarding meetings to assist with documentation and execution of appointment action items in a timely manner
- Assist lead advisor as serving as secondary point of contact for onboarding clients, ensuring high level of service and responsiveness
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in service, sales, operations or client acquisition within wealth management
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning concepts, and multi-generational client needs
- Exceptional networking, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively
- Series 7 and 66 series licenses required; CFP or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Bachelors degree required Finance, Business, or other related field preferred

- In office position, with potential for hybrid flexibility in time.
Base salary range between $70k-$100k, plus potential bonus opportunity, and full benefits package.
