The Wealth Planning Associate plays a key role in supporting advisors and delivering comprehensive financial planning to clients. This position is designed for individuals who are looking to grow into an advisory role while developing deep technical planning skills and client relationship experience.
Working closely with all levels of advisors, this role focuses on financial plan development, client meeting support, and ongoing servicing—while building the foundation for future client-facing responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Assist in drafting and developing comprehensive financial plans
- Research and analyze planning strategies across tax, estate, insurance, and investments
- Prepare and present planning scenarios and recommendations to advisors
- Participate in client meetings, take notes, and track follow-up actions
- Support advisors in complex planning and client situations
- Prepare client review materials and ongoing service deliverables
- Develop planning strategies for client communications and review meetings
- Utilize financial planning software to model scenarios and analyze outcomes
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and on time
- Maintain the confidentiality of client's financial and personal information
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve planning processes and client outcomes

Technical Skills
- Experience with financial planning software and scenario modeling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to learn CRM and firm-specific systems
- Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wealth management or financial services
- SIE, Series 7 and 66 required (can be obtained within the first 12 months)
- CFP® in progress
- Insurance licenses (Life, Health, Annuity) required (can be obtained on the job)
Compensation and Benefits:
