Client Engagement Associate

 Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:

The Client Engagement Associate will play a key role in driving the firm's growth by collaborating with our marketing & relationship management teams to engage with our clients & prospects, helping them to understand & engage with the firm's proposition and capabilities. Using advanced data intelligence & analytics, this individual will build our market presence through engagement with prospects, clients & centers of influence, coordinating with our marketing & external business development teams to drive individuals to engage effectively with the firm. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, initiative, and a genuine interest in building meaningful relationships to drive engagement with the firm across the market.

Pipeline Development

  • Source, research, and qualify prospective clients through targeted outreach, referrals, industry networks, 3rd party data intelligence, etc.
  • Partner with external business development leads to generate high-quality meeting opportunities.
  • Engage with our digital & broader marketing efforts to identify & progress leads

Data Tracking & Prospect Intelligence

  • Engage with Salesforce and our broader data & AI intelligence platforms to maintain complete and accurate tracking of all outreach, meetings, and prospect interactions and drive tailored, targeted prospect engagement.
  • Monitor industry databases, consultant platforms, and market news to identify organizations and individuals evaluating OCIO solutions.
  • Deliver actionable intelligence to our broader sales & relationship management teams on prospect interests, competitive activity, and relationship progress.

Relationship Cultivation

  • Build and nurture relationships with centers of influence and prospects who drive decision-making on their financial investments.
  • Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up to keep prospects engaged throughout the sales cycle, educating them on the value of an OCIO approach and the capabilities of the firm.
  • Work with our teams to plan & run events, webinars, and targeted campaigns to expand firm visibility and attract qualified leads for our business development & relationship management teams.

Sales Team Enablement

  • Prepare tailored pitch materials, call prep notes, and follow-up communications that help advance prospect relationships.
  • Ensure the external business development team has timely information, talking points, and market insights to strengthen outreach across their clients, prospects & centers of influence.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales prospecting strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales support or sales enablement within asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of institutional investment management OR wealth management and the OCIO landscape a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trust and credibility.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
