Senior Wealth Manager

 Job Description:

Our client is a rapidly growing, fee-only RIA devoted to providing their clients with comprehensive financial planning and tax accounting. With a concentration on dentists & dental specialists, they offer a suite of integrated financial solutions including investment management, cash flow and retirement planning, personal and business bookkeeping, tax preparation, and student loan planning.

They are searching for a Senior Wealth Manager to maintain client relationships in a first-chair capacity, create and update financial plans, and implement planning recommendations. This requires a desire for in-depth financial planning, interest in tax planning, and a willingness to learn more about the dental profession. There is no business development requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for assigned clients and maintain excellent client service & communication.

  • Lead all client meetings in a first-chair capacity.

  • Review and finalize meeting preparation drafted by dedicated Associate Wealth Managers.

  • Create and update Financial Plans using eMoney Advisor.

  • Rebalance and execute trades in client portfolios in line with firm portfolio models and client Investment Policy Statements.

  • Prepare or review individual and business tax returns for clients, as needed.

  • Oversee new client onboarding.

  • Mentor your supporting Associate Wealth Managers on technical knowledge, soft skills, and planning strategies.

  • Become an expert in tax planning, student loan planning, and career planning for dentists

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 3+ Years of Financial Planning and/or Tax Experience.

  • CFP® Designation. Tax designations like EA or CPA is a plus.

  • Technology doesn't daunt you - we use a LOT of technology.

  • Detail oriented. We create very detailed financial plans.

  • Time management. Our advisors need to be able to track and prioritize many tasks on a day-to-day basis.

  • Reliability. Take ownership of client needs and proactively manage client requests.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • First year total compensation range starting at $100k+, based on relevant experience.
