Our client is a boutique wealth management firm located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. This firm provides comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to affluent and ultra-affluent families, corporate executives, professionals, and business owners. They are seeking a Financial Advisor that will have an opportunity for rapid advancement to a Private Wealth Advisor role where you will be fully responsible for providing holistic wealth management and planning services to 40 existing High-Net-Worth clients. This person will support the advisory team in delivering ongoing service to clients by preparing for client meetings, assisting with planning-related tasks, and coordinating follow-up items. This role plays a key part in maintaining the day-to-day servicing needs of client relationships and ensuring internal processes are followed.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Supports the lead advisor in maintaining strong client relationships by assisting with day-to-day servicing needs, drafting client communication, capturing meeting notes, and creating and tracking action items.
- Experience completing Annuity and Life Insurance applications with carriers is mandatory.
- Cashiering with Fidelity or Schwab is a plus.
- Prepares and generates client review materials for assigned clients in alignment with firm's standards.
- Drafts and implements financial plans and action items under the supervision of the Senior Advisor.
- Assists head of wealth planning with case studies and other education opportunities for the department.
- Researches, creates and presents planning strategies (tax, estate, insurance and investment) and relays recommendations to advisors/clients as client situations arise.
- Assists the Senior Advisor with investment management strategies and works with the Investment Department to implement.
- Participates in client meetings for delivering presentations, live planning, updates, note taking, and post meeting actions.
- Works proactively in all facets of the role, consistently seeking out new opportunities to assist advisors in planning more effectively, maximizing data, defining best practices, and identifying high-impact activities.
- Utilize LeadCenter.AI, (an Advisory Firm Salesforce CRM), for reports, client communication, and client information maintenance.
- Advanced understanding of financial planning software (eMoney) and scenario creation.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and promptly.
- Protects clients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Performs tasks in a manner that displays a commitment to excellence, best practices, compassionate and superior customer service with every client and colleague.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of financial planning and advice.
- Ability to communicate clearly internally and externally through verbal and written correspondence, especially in difficult client situations.
- Strong client services skills with the ability to assess the needs of the client and take action when appropriate.
- Deep understanding of industry compliance and ability to follow procedures.
- Strong client services.

Experience/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wealth management.
- Experience using Wealthscape, Orion, eMoney, Holistiplan, Morningstar, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Series 7, 66 or 65 are required.
- Health and Life Insurance Licenses preferred, but they can be obtained within six months of employment.
- CFP designation a plus and highly recommended. Company reimburses the costs once successfully completed.
- Additional designations or certifications may be required and can be obtained on the job.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary ($80k-110k+) plus $2,500 quarterly bonus for meeting goals (at the discretion of the management).

- PTO policy: 10 days off in the first 12 months of employment, and then three additional days per year until a maximum of 20 days.
- NYSE holiday calendar (10 days) and the Friday after Thanksgiving.
