Associate Advisor
Job Description:
Our client is a fee-only firm located in Corvallis, OR. They are seeking an Associate Advisor to join their team. The Associate Advisor serves as the connection between their clients and the support teams, under the guidance of our Senior Lead Advisors. The associate advisor must be an enthusiastic person who supports and demonstrates the vision, positive culture, and team orientation of our firm with clients.
The key role of this position is to support client relationships, working side-by-side with their lead and senior advisors. This support involves preparing analysis, reports, and agendas for client meetings, as well as note taking during meetings and ensuring appropriate follow up after meetings. The associate advisor is responsible for contributing to a consistently excellent advisory experience for clients.
Their Associate Advisors have an opportunity to grow into leadership positions. The growth of our advisors is a priority for the firm, and you will have opportunities to attend training sessions, conferences, and work alongside experienced advisors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationships
- With the support of Senior and Lead Advisors, supports clients in decision making, investments and financial outcomes
- Advises client by understanding their needs, objectives, goals, and concerns
- Helps with development, presentation, and implementation of financial plans
- Provide meeting preparation for Lead/Senior Advisor and ability to lead client case preparation
- Ensures consistently exceptional client experience by tracking client metrics, ensuring timely meeting follow up, and timely communication
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CFP® designation, or Series 65 and pursuit of CFP® designation
- 2-5 years of experience, preferably in financial services
- Strong communication (verbal, written, listening) and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
Preferred qualifications
- Expertise in data analysis, reporting and modeling
- Knowledge of one or more custodial platforms (Fidelity, Schwab, etc.)
- Proficiency with financial planning software (Right Capital, Holistiplan, etc.)
- Knowledge of investment advisory regulations

- Base salary $65,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
