Operations Associate

 Job Description:

Our client provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services tailored to individuals and families at every stage of their financial journey, from those just getting started to high-net-worth clients. As their firm continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Operations and Client Experience Associate to join their team of dedicated professionals.

Because their firm is small, every team member plays a critical role and makes a tangible difference. Your knowledge, experience, and positive attitude will be integral to deliver exceptional client experiences. Their ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, a solid understanding of RIAs and the broader securities industry, and strong technology skills, including experience with Redtail, Microsoft Office, or comparable systems. Familiarity with Fidelity and Schwab platforms and a bachelor's degree are preferred. A demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service, along with excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills, is required.

This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Collaborate with team members and clients to complete tasks promptly, efficiently, and accurately, using Redtail CRM to document activities.
  • Create a positive impression of the firm by warmly greeting clients in person and by telephone and providing general information about our services.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to gather information, answer questions, and coordinate service needs.
  • Support AUM and financial planning clients by completing custodian forms and account updates, scheduling meetings, requesting documents, processing cashiering requests, opening new accounts, and performing related service tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough client records and notes in accordance with all compliance standards.
  • Under the direction of the Chief Investment Officer and/or Portfolio Analyst, execute mutual fund and ETF trades and maintain portfolio management software.
  • Support and coordinate with the Chief Compliance Officer on compliance tasks and projects.
  • Assist with trade and client account reconciliation, internal and external report preparation, billing, and performance reporting.
  • Promote operational continuity by participating in ongoing cross-training.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes a salary, discretionary bonus, health and dental insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
