Financial Operations Specialist

 Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to centralize and streamline the operational functions of our RIA. Currently, operations tasks are distributed across multiple team members, and this role will bring efficiency, consistency, and accountability to our workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Centralize and manage day-to-day operational tasks across the firm.
  • Oversee account reconciliations, billing, and client performance reporting through portfolio management software (Orion or Black Diamond).
  • Serve as a point of contact with custodians and operational needs.
  • Maintain and improve workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancies.
  • Support compliance functions, including document retention, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with client service tasks, including account maintenance, transfers, and service requests.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in RIA operations, client service, or a related financial services role.
  • Proficiency with Orion portfolio management systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary starting ($100k-$125k- commensurate with experience)
