RETAIL BUTCHER

Minimum Experience: 5 years in retail

Educational Qualification: AT LEAST High School Diploma

Job Description:

As a Retail Butcher, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service

and delivering high-quality meat products to our valued customers. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and displaying a wide variety of meats for sale, ensuring they are of the highest quality.

• Advising customers on different cuts of meat and assisting them in selecting the right products

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the meat preparation area
• Operating and maintaining equipment such as meat grinders, slicers, and knives

• Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or inquiries

• Ensuring accurate weighing, packaging, and labeling of meat products
• Arranging and organizing meat displays, ensuring products are visually appealing and attractively presented.

• Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
• Following food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain product freshness and quality.

Essential Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Prior experience as a retail butcher
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Pleasant and approachable personality
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• A flair for the food industry and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
