Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Repair:
- Perform diagnostic tests on agricultural equipment to identify issues and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems to ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and inspections to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Service and maintain farm machinery to optimize performance during peak seasons and ensure reliability.
- Installation and Setup:
- Install new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper assembly and calibration according to technical specifications.
- Set up equipment for specific farming tasks such as planting, harvesting, irrigation, and livestock handling.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures when performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and equipment safety requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
- Generate reports on equipment conditions, repair histories, and service schedules.
- Customer Service:
