PIG FARM MAINTENANCE FITTER

Job Description:

• Maintain and repair pig farm equipment and machinery, including ventilation systems, feeding and water systems, and other related equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and avoid production disruptions.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary repairs.

• Perform welding and fabrication work as required to repair or modify equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documenting completed tasks and maintaining spare parts inventory.

• Collaborate with farm management to identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality and propose solutions.

• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of vocational degree related to Maintenance, Welding and Electrical.
• Has National Certificates for Welding, Electrical and Maintenance.
• With at least 3-8 years of experience as a maintenance fitter in a pig farm
• Previous experience working as a maintenance fitter in a pig farm.
• Strong knowledge of ventilation systems, feeding and water systems used in pig farms.
• Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Fluent in English.
