The Sales Executive handles accounts with frequent individual travelers, MICE and/or catering requirements. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Associate Director of Sales in coordination with the AVP for Sales and VP for Sales and Marketing and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, implements all sales activities, executes administrative tasks and maximize business opportunities in his/her specific area of responsibility. This position is responsible for representing and promoting the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base of his/her responsibility through customer relationship management.
Sales & Business Development
- Execute sales action plans and generate leads across market segments.
- Attend trade shows, sales events, and conduct regular client visits and telemarketing.
- Identify new accounts, develop market intelligence, and convert leads into business.
- Promote hotel rooms, outlets, promotions, and packages.
Account Management & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, travel, and key accounts.
- Arrange site inspections, hotel tours, and client entertainment activities.
- Handle contracts, inquiries, complaints, and after-sales follow-ups.
- Maintain updated account files and client database.
Meetings, Events & Guest Engagement
- Attend sales briefings, pre/post-conference meetings, and conduct guest visits.
- Monitor VIP arrivals and ensure proper guest relations and satisfaction.
- Support group bookings, waitlist follow-ups, and special client requirements.
Reporting & Administration
- Submit weekly, quarterly, and performance reports on time.
- Update marketing plans and maintain accurate account records.
- Monitor deposits, prepare liquidation reports, and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
Internal & External Communication
- Coordinate with internal departments and share sales updates.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic recommendations.
- Support promotional material development and sales presentations.
- Uphold professionalism, company values, and service standards.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
With 1–2 years experience as a Sales Executive in an international or deluxe class hotel.
Well-adept in MS Programs (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to travel and conduct field sales calls when needed.
Professional appearance and positive work attitude.
Willingness to work in Muntinlupa City.
