The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures beverage quality and consistency, maintains bar cleanliness and inventory, and contributes to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience at Quest Plus Conference Center Manila.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, making recommendations, and responding to guest requests professionally.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all beverages served.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and tools.
  • Monitor and replenish bar stocks, garnishes, glassware, and supplies as needed.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and assist in stock control to minimize wastage and losses.
  • Operate POS systems and process guest transactions accurately.
  • Verify guests' age and ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies.
  • Support outlet promotions and upselling initiatives to maximize revenue.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including bar setup, cleaning, and cash reconciliation.

Job Summary

  • Graduate of Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Tourism, or any related course is an advantage.
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or similar food and beverage establishment.
  • Knowledge of cocktail preparation, mixology techniques, wines, spirits, beers, and beverage service standards.
  • Familiarity with bar equipment, inventory management, and POS systems.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and late-night operations when required.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
