As a Resource Management Associate, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the utilization of resources within the organization. This position involves coordinating and managing various resources such as manpower (personnel), equipment, and resources needed to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will work closely with different departments to assess resource needs allocate resources appropriately and monitor usage to meet organizational goals.
KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resource Planning – 40%
Collaborate with department heads to understand project timelines, goals, and resource requirements.
Develop resource plans based on project demands, considering personnel, equipment, and facilities.
Regularly review and update resource allocation strategies to meet changing business demands.
Capacity Analysis – 30%
Monitor the current workload and capacity of different teams or departments.
Analyze resource utilization trends and identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication – 15%
Facilitate communication between different departments to streamline resource sharing and
collaboration.
Communicate resource plans and changes to relevant stakeholders.
Foster a culture of transparency and cooperation to enhance overall resource efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting – 15%
Collect and analyze data related to resource usage, project timelines, and team productivity.
Generate regular reports on resource allocation and utilization, presenting insights and
recommendations to management.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of systems directly related to resource planning, capacity planning or any resource management tools.
Must have exceptional organizational skills
Great collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Can work with minimal supervision.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Must be knowledgeable in Smartsheet, or any project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, Jira, etc.
EDUCATION, TRAININGS, LICENSES REQUIRED:
Candidate must possess degree in Human Resources, Business Administration focusing on HR Management, or any related
field.
At least 2-3 years working experience in Resource Planning, Capacity Planning, or any Resource Management field.
