Lead Nurse

Job Summary

The Lead Nurse is responsible for overseeing the management of all project site clinic in terms of clinic operation and ensuring the implementation of Occupational health standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises all Project Nurses;
Conducts orientation to newly hired nurse in terms of clinic operations and EHS policies;
Conducts health monitoring for Head Office employees
Supervises nurses in their daily tasks.
Conducts monthly meeting for the purpose of sharing knowledge, formulating strategy, fostering collaboration and to monitor all the existing issues.
Monitor & Evaluate performance of project nurses
Identify the required / appropriate training for each nurse and coordinate it to Human resource.
Perform mentoring & coaching to all nurses when necessary.
Review existing policies and procedures and recommends necessary revision to the EHS manager for improvement.
Monitors the Implementation of health policies and guidelines for all project clinic site.
Develop and maintain an open and effective line of communication among the other department.
Ensures completeness, timely and accuracy reports (Weekly health report, Monthly DOLE reports, Accomplishments report, Annual Report & Annual Medical Report).
Monitors and ensure the implementation of Occupational Health & Wellness Program to all project site clinic.
Visits Project site clinics to do inventory, checking of medical records.
Ensures proper filing, updating and management of Employee’s medical documents.
Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive material and information in printed, electronic or in verbal form.

Technical Competencies and Skills

A good Team Player Excellent in communication skills. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PPT) Results Driven Knowledgeable in clinic management. Ability to work independently and to be accurate, efficient and organized. Ability to comprehend contract, explanation of service, computer data & financial records. Must be knowledgeable in Occupational safety & health standards regulation.

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

BS NURSING GRADUATE, BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND STANDARD FIRST AID, BOSH BY OHNAP, REGISTERED NURSE, BOSH-OHNAP
